52 Lists / Twenty Five

Joining in with Emma at Made In Hunters and her 52 Lists project.

This week: List the things you want/need to let go of 

Feeling miserable about the England football team not getting through to the next stage of the World Cup (sad face!)

Worrying about when Ofsted are going to visit

Fretting about my hair falling out

Feeling bad about not updating my blog even though I'm super busy

Negative thoughts about things I cannot change either because it's out of my control 
or because it's in the past

Getting stressed about the house not being tidy

Doubting my own abilities

Thinking that I'm not doing a good job as a teacher if I'm not working every night

Being stubborn about things because I'm too scared of change

What do you need to let go of?
Does not updating your blog stress you out?

  1. I definitely need to let go of negative thoughts about things I can't control... I am constantly reminding myself of the Serenity Prayer - "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference."

    And yes, totally get stressed when I fall behind blogging :)

  2. I have so many things I need to just let go of... but that is always easier said than done.
    And yes, not updating my blog always stresses me out, even though I know nothing will really happen if I don't.
    Oh... I can't find/see the follow your blog buttony thing. Have looked three times but can't find it haha. Think I am not seeing for looking
